By Sara Garcia

Junior H, whose real name is Antonio Herrera Pérez, is a Mexican singer and songwriter born on April 23, 2001, in Cerano, Guanajuato. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of the corridos tumbados subgenre, a fusion of regional Mexican music with elements of trap and hip-hop.
BEGINNINGS AND CARER
At age 15, Junior H immigrated with his family to Utah, United States, where he worked at a fast-food chain while learning to play guitar through YouTube tutorials. He began writing songs at age 12 and sharing his music on digital platforms. His first album, Mi vida en un cigarro (2019), included songs like "No he cambio," which catapulted him to fame. This success caught the attention of Jimmy Humilde, founder of the Rancho Humilde label, with whom he signed a contract shortly after.
