"SS marschiert in Feindesland", also known as "Teufelslied", was a marching song of the Third Reich used by the Waffen SS. The song encompasses elements of heroism, loyalty, anti-communism, and ultranationalism, presented to a rhythm of traditional German music.
The song was modified several times during the war. Originally, its lyrics referred to the banks of the Volga River in Russia, and later to the Oder River on the German-Polish border, where intense fighting took place in 1945.
